Greetings 420 Family,
I'm a medical marijuana patient that you can simply refer to as the BudMaster of this blog. The masks to the left help to emphasize two things about me. They convey my support of the expression: "The whole world is a stage." I believe we are really who we are, both in front of and behind the mask. The world, however, doesn't always appreciate us revealing the person on the other side of the mask. They also represent two of the many sides or faces to my own personality. Just like the masks, I often find my feelings plunging from one extreme to another. Marijuana has been a way to keep me smiling while dealing with the craziness of the world. It has also been a source of determination in my struggle to unmask my own faults and insecurities. I'm happy to finally be legal in Los Angeles and be able to obtain hassle-free pot. Like many legal cannabis smokers, I've been smoking weed for a long time. Needless to say, my status has not always been "legal."
I feel fortunate to reside in California because it is one of the states that happens to be pot-friendly. We are probably responsible for lighting a fire under some of the other states with medical marijuana laws.
Since 2004 I've been suffering from cubital tunnel in my right wrist, along with a related condition that affects my inner elbow. I'm a full time freelance writer, so needless to say, my medical situation affects my life a lot. In spite of this fact, I continue to do what I love best, writing. Even when I experience pain and discomfort from my condition, I push through it to get my work done. Marijuana has always been a source of relief for me. It helps distract me from the intermittent pain in my wrist and elbow, that is often pretty extreme.
